Boardsquares is board-hosting and board-management software for entertainment-only football squares-style boards.
Some boards allow quick joining by code. Boards that use participant claiming or account-based features may require an account.
Enter the board code on the Boardsquares home page. If the code does not work, confirm the code with the host and make sure the board is open.
Sign in, choose Host a Board, select the sport and game, then complete the board setup options.
Draft is setup mode, Open allows participants to join, Locked stops assignment changes, Completed records final scoring, and Archived removes the board from active use.
TV Mode displays a board in a cleaner format for a shared screen, venue TV, laptop, tablet, or connected display.
Yes. Hosts can manage square names directly from Host Tools when the board setup allows it.
Participant self-claiming is a Pro feature. The host can share the board code, link, or QR code when self-claiming is active.
Yes. Hosts can set participant limits during board setup or from board settings.
Numbers can be drawn when the board is full, by scheduled cutoff, or manually by the host depending on the board settings.
The host records quarter and final scores from Host Tools when live scoring is not available or a correction is needed.
When a supported imported game is linked, Pro boards can use live scoring to update results without the host entering every score manually.
Free boards support simple hosting, manual board management, board sharing, printing, and manual result entry.
Pro adds participant self-claiming, live scoring for supported games, football Potential Outcomes, premium host tools, and multiple active boards.
Yes. Eligible boards can be upgraded from Host Tools or checkout prompts.
Stripe handles card receipts. Boardsquares also sends a Pro activation confirmation after payment is processed.
